Places to add into your Itinerary
- Wine Tasting at either Marsden Estate or Kainui vineyards: Whites, Reds, Rose, Ports & Liqueurs. Customers can enjoy up to 6 different wines.
- Craft Beer Breweries: Visit the Phat House Brewery, here customers will sample four different craft beers.
- Kerikeri Basin: Home to New Zealand’s oldest stone building (Stone Store), and Kemp House the oldest wooden building. An area steeped in early New Zealand history.
- Rainbow Falls: Three stunning viewing platforms are at the top of the Rainbow Falls.
- Makana Confections Chocolate Factory: Handmade using natural ingredients.
- Art & Craft Studios including Native NZ Kauri Woodcrafts.
- Opua forest walk, where customers can hear about native flora/fauna and will see ancient Kauri Trees (over a thousand years old).
- Kawiti Glow Worm Caves. Your 30-minute guided tour will follow a wooden boardwalk (with handrails) through a 200-metre limestone cave system. Once inside, you will see thousands of glow worms spread across the ceiling surrounded by breath taking stalactites and stalagmites.
